Simple Present Tense

Definition

- Simple Present Tense is the tense which is used in the context of daily activity.

Formula

Positive Sentence
Using Verb
- Subject (I, You, They, We) + Verb 1 + Compliment
- Subject (She, He, It) + Verb 1 + s/es + Compliment
Without Verb
- Subject (I) + to be (am) + Complement
- Subject (You, We, They) + to be (are) + Compliment
- Subject (She, He, It) + to be (is) + Compliment

Negative Sentences
Using Verb
- Subject (I, You, They, We) + Do not + Verb 1 + Compliment
- Subject (She, He, It) + Does not + Verb 1 + Compliment
Without Verb
- Subject (I) + to be (am) + not + Compliment
- Subject (You, We, They) + to be (are) + not + Compliment
- Subject (She, He, It) + to be (is) + not + Compliment

Interogative Sentences
Using Verb
- Do + Subject (I, You, We, They) + Compliment?
- Does + Subject (She, He, It) + Compliment?
Without Verb
- Is + Subject (She, He, It) + Compliment?
- Are + Subject (You, We, They) + Compliment?
- Am + Subject (I) + Compliment?

Simple Past Tense

Definition

- Simple Past Tense is Tense which is used in the context of the activity which is happened in the past.

Formula

Positive Sentences
Using Verb
- Subject (I, You, We, They, She, He, It) + Verb2 + Compliment.
Without Verb
- Subject (You, We, They) + were + Compliment
- Subject (I, She, He, It) + was + Compliment

Negative Sentences
Using Verb
- Subject (I, You, We, They, She, He, It) + Did not + Verb 1 + Compliment
Without Verb
- Subject (You, We, They) + were not + Compliment
- Subject (I, She, He, It) + was not + Compliment

Interogative Sentences
Using Verb
